beginning drawing

classes for kids ages 7 - 15

Students learn fundamentals of drawing, shading, layout and composition. By learning how to use different weights of graphite, students learn how to achieve realism in a subject. Students also learn how to create depth through color using different mediums such as chalk pastel, charcoal and colored pencil. The class draws its subject matter from life, so students also learn how to train their eyes to draw what is around them. If yous child has a desire to learn an incredibly elevated level of drawings beyond what they normally do, Beginning Drawing is for them!

NOTE: This class will be restructuring and transforming into the Life Drawing series starting September 2019.
