Terms and Conditions
Below you will find our policies regarding our weekly studio classes. If you have any additional questions, feel free to direct any inquiries to info@arthaus5.com .
Tuition
All payments for individual lessons, materials, galleries/exhibitions, and other charges will be paid monthly. Payments can be made through automated debit/credit card via student online account.
Tuition is withdrawn monthly on the 3rd of each month. Tuition is prorated at enrollment for all classes between the enrollment date and end of the month.

Weekly Group Classes:
1 Hour Lessons $130/month
1.5 Hour Lessons $195/month
2 Hour Lessons $229/month
Sibling Discounts: ArtHaus5 offers a 20% discount for all siblings enrolled in our weekly classes. The discount is applied to the lowest tuition rate. Sibling Discounts DO NOT apply to camps or workshops.
Multi-Class Discounts: ArtHaus5 offers a 10% discount discount when two or more classes are taken by the same student. The discount is applied to the lowest tuition rate. Multi-class discount DO NOT apply to camps or workshops.
LATE PICK-UP: There is a $1/minute charge for late pickups beginning with the 10th minute a parent is late. Parents will be notified at pickup the total late charge which is due immediately and will be charged to the payment method on file.
ArtHaus5 Studio Schedule
It is important that students/parents understand that the monthly tuition rate is not on a per-lesson basis. Some months your student will have 5 lessons + possibly other classes, and some months (depending upon the studio schedule) they could have less. The monthly tuition is the monthly rate paid regardless of the number of lessons/classes in a given month. The number of actual lessons in any particular month will vary based upon the studio schedule (refer to the calendar below).

Payments
Payments will only be accepted through direct deposit either via ACH or Major Credit Card. We reserve the right to suspend teaching services immediately if payment has not been paid. Payments are processed on the 3rd of each month. First payment is prorated for new enrollments.
Missed Classes & Makeup
If your student is unable to attend a scheduled class, you will have an opportunity to make up the class by having them attend another class similar to the one they are currently enrolled in. Please note the following conditions for makeup classes:
Report absences via our app or online account at least two hours before the missed class to qualify for a makeup token. Classes missed without prior notice will not be refunded or moved to future months.
Only students actively attending our studio and currently enrolled are eligible for makeup sessions.
Upon reporting an absence, the makeup token will not appear instantly. Instead, it's generated two hours after the missed class and you'll receive a confirmation email.
Each student can have a maximum of two makeup classes per month and each makeup token is valid for 30 days. No makeup for unattended makeup classes.
Our makeup class policy does not extend to days when the studio is pre-scheduled to be closed according to our studio calendar. However, it is applicable for days of unexpected closures due to emergencies.
Materials for Art Classes
All necessary materials ** are included as part of your monthly tuition payment, ensuring your child has access to all the supplies they need for art classes. We are happy to provide recommended material links if you wish to have similar materials at home; simply let us know, and we'll share the links with you.
*For special projects, for example, extra-large sized canvas, large clay ceramic projects, or independent studies, there may be additional material fees. In these instances, we will seek your prior approval for payment, or you are welcome to bring your own specialty art supplies for advanced classes.
**For digital art classes, students are required to bring their iPad and Apple pencil for privacy and homework purposes.
Temporary Pause / Cancellation of Lessons
Should you wish to discontinue lessons, cancellation notices must be received - in writing - no later than the 20th of the current month. Our tuition collection process is automated and students failing to provide notice of cancellation after the 20th are not guaranteed the cancellation will be processed prior to the next tuition collection date. If Additional Assistance is Needed
We do have limited seating capacity in our classes. Therefore, we are unable to accommodate parents or aides in the class as it would take away the opportunity for potential students to enroll.
However, we would be happy to recommend online classes that allow students to receive assistance from parents or aides while also participating in our art classes. This recommendation applies to any potential student whose parent wishes to attend the class with them.

Participation Consent
Studio ArtHaus takes photos and videos of students and their projects. ArtHaus also publishes photographs and displays original artwork taken of parents and children. By enrolling your child or children with ArtHaus, you attest that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child or children enrolling and that you have full authority to consent to authorize ArtHaus to use their likenesses and names. You also further acknowledge that participation is voluntary and that neither you, the minor child, or minor children will receive financial compensation of any type associated with the taking or publication of these photographs or participation in Company marketing materials or other Company publications. You acknowledge and agree that publication of said photos confers no rights of ownership or royalties whatsoever. By enrolling your child or children, you release ArtHaus, its contractors, its employees and any third parties involved in the creation or publication of ArtHaus publications, from liability for any claim by you or any third party in connection with my participation or the participation of the children being enrolling.
