Sandra Roberts

Lead Instructor

Mrs. Sandra, a devoted member of our community for over 15 years, has beautifully blended her rich personal life with her passion for the arts. She lives with her husband, four children, and their two lively Labrador Retrievers.

With years of experience under her belt, Sandra has imparted the joy of art creation to both young minds and adults alike. For her, the pinnacle of fulfillment comes from teaching individuals to craft something beautiful with their own hands.

A graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York City, Sandra holds a BFA in Graphics and Communication Design. Her educational journey also took her to the romantic streets of Paris and the South of France, where she honed her skills in landscape painting.

Her professional trajectory is equally impressive. Sandra has lent her design expertise to magazines and design firms spanning both the East and West coasts. Today, as a Contemporary Artist, her love for the Arts continues.  She works in diverse mediums, including photography, painting, collage and sculpture. Her pieces have garnered the admiration of collectors on both a national and international scale.

Since 2017, ArtHaus has been privileged to have Sandra as a dedicated and inspirational teacher on our team.

Daisy Warren

Artistic freedom is at the heart of Daisy’s teaching philosophy. While technique and fundamentals are important, she believes confidence and creative exploration matter just as much.

A Design and Technology major at Parsons School of Design, Daisy blends arts with technology, creating interactive and generative art through code. Her background spans illustration, ceramics, and classical fine arts training, with studies at RISD and the Watts Atelier of the Arts. Though currently based in New York, she remains deeply connected to the Studio ArtHaus community in San Diego, making lesson plans or traveling back to teach whenever possible.

As president of her college’s Plein Air Club and a Vice President of Women in Animation, Daisy is passionate about fostering artistic communities. In the past, she founded three art clubs—The Art Works, Art Cares San Diego, and The Untitled Club—to support young artists. She believes in equipping students with industry-level skills early on, encouraging them to develop their own styles while learning how to share their work with the world.

Molly Wang

Studio Director

Both our founder and our foundation, Molly today serves as a facilitator, resource and strong supporter of the studio. Studio ArtHaus roots were planted in 2011 when Molly’s mother started teaching neighborhood kids about creating art on an informal basis. Then in 2018, after her mom retired, Molly picked up the baton to carry on this vision of a community art studio devoted to kids, teens and everyone in need.

After earning her bachelor's degree from San Diego State University, Molly launched her own import/export business. Her business insights have been key to developing and supporting the studio. While proceeds from selling her company have further bolstered ArtHaus’ viability as a cherished local art studio serving the community.

After having lived in China, Japan and San Francisco, Molly is exceedingly happy to now call San Diego her home. She divides her time now between Studio ArtHaus and her non-profit animal-rescue organization that she co-founded.

Away from these pursuits, she spends her time enjoying biking, hiking and camping. Anything having to do with nature and her dog Mochi brings Molly untold happiness and contentment.
