Lily Pad pond Shadow Box 3d Art 🇲 🖼️ (8 yrs & up)

Students will make a shadowbox of a lily pad pond with koi fish and frogs
Students will craft their own enchanting lily pad pond shadow box! Using a variety of techniques, participants will draw, cut, and layer paper to bring their pond to life, complete with vibrant koi fish, charming frogs, and lush lily pads. This hands-on project is perfect for artists looking to explore their imagination while developing their drawing and paper crafting skills. By the end of the day, each student will take home a unique and beautifully detailed shadow box—a wonderful keepsake or gift!

Natural Wonders Jr. Camp: Great Smoky Mountains 🇲 🗻 (5 - 7 yrs)

Join us for a fun-filled art adventure where young artists (ages 5-7) will explore the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains through hands-on crafts and creative activities! Campers will learn about the diverse wildlife, lush forests, and stunning landscapes of the Smokies, and then bring these elements to life through painting, crafting animals like bears and deer, and creating nature-inspired art. The day will also include an interactive storytime, where children will hear tales of the Smoky Mountains and then make art based on the story’s themes. By the end of the day, each child will have their own collection of nature-inspired masterpieces, as well as a deeper appreciation for the natural world. It’s a perfect day of creativity, learning, and fun in the great outdoors!

Campers will learn all about the Grand Canyon’s breathtaking landscapes, towering rock formations, and vibrant colors as they explore the canyon’s rich history and natural wonders. They’ll discover how the canyon was formed over millions of years, the unique plants and animals that call it home, and the powerful Colorado River that winds through its depths. Join us for 3 exciting days of hands-on pottery fun with your favorite instructors! This camp, we’ll craft unique animal plates and jewelry holders using premium earth clay. Plus, dive into polymer clay to make adorable fridge magnets and a necklace or earrings of your choice. If time allows, you’ll even have the chance to create your own special piece. Digital Art - Forest bathing Animal 🇼💻 (8 yrs & up)

Students will create digital artwork of a cute fox or cat basking in the sunlight in the forest.
Students will bring a peaceful scene of warmth and adorable calmness to life using their digital drawing skills! Our instructors will guide students on how to create this heart warming illustration from start to finish. Participants will learn digital art techniques like how to sketch, render foliage and fur, use lighting effects, and color theory. Students are encouraged to draw their own pet or favorite animal to create a touching and personal artwork that can be displayed and enjoyed for years to come.

Join us for a day of exploration and creativity as we dive into the natural wonders of Zion National Park! This one-day art camp for young artists (ages 5-7) will take campers on a journey through Zion’s towering red rock cliffs, winding canyons, and vibrant desert landscapes. They’ll learn about the park’s fascinating geology, from the striking colors of the rock formations to the unique wildlife that calls Zion home. Children will discover the beauty of Zion’s famous landmarks, such as Angels Landing and The Narrows, while also learning about the park’s rich history and the importance of preserving these stunning landscapes. Students will paint a tranquil landscape of a flowing waterfall amongst the lush greenery of nature. Inspiring feelings of peace and awe at the natural beauty around us, artists will be guided step-by-step on how to use acrylic paints to create this beautiful scene. Using techniques like dry brush, layering, blending, and color theory, students will use this knowledge in their artwork during this workshop and beyond on their future paintings.

Get ready for a wild adventure at Yellowstone National Park in this one-day art camp for young explorers! Campers will discover the magic of Yellowstone’s incredible geothermal wonders, including its famous geysers, hot springs, and bubbling mud pots. They'll learn how the park's amazing landscapes were formed by volcanic activity, and explore the vibrant colors and textures found in its natural features, like the deep blue of the Grand Prismatic Spring and the warm hues of the hot springs.
