This immersive one-day art camp, designed for young artists ages 5-7, invites children on a vibrant journey to Brazil! Campers will uncover the stories behind Brazil's renowned landmarks, such as Christ the Redeemer and the bustling streets of São Paulo. They will also embark on an expedition into the Amazon rainforest to learn about its incredible biodiversity and fascinating creatures. Through the infectious rhythms of samba and capoeira, and the colorful celebrations of Carnival, campers will immerse themselves in the vibrant tapestry of Brazilian culture, creating their own Brazilian-inspired art and trying traditional crafts.  By connecting with nature's beauty through hands-on activities and creative expression, children will develop a deeper appreciation for Brazil's breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife. By the end of this unforgettable day, campers will have a newfound understanding and appreciation for the wonders of Brazil!

Digital Art: How to Design your Dragon 🐲💻 (8 yrs & up)

Students will create a digital artwork of a majestic dragon using Procreate App and Apple Pencil on iPad.

Unleash your imagination by designing your very own epic dragon. In this Digital Art camp, students will explore a variety of techniques using Procreate —including sketching, inking, shading, and dynamic color blending— on the iPad. Our expert instructors will guide participants step-by-step through the process of bringing their dragons to life, teaching them how to work in layers and utilize Procreate’s unique features. Each student will have the opportunity to customize their dragon with unique scales, fiery breath, and magical elements, resulting in a personalized masterpiece that captures the power and beauty of their imagined creature. The India Day Art Camp invites young artists (ages 5-7) on a vibrant journey through the heart of India. This one-day camp allows children to discover the magic and diversity of India's rich cultural tapestry. Campers will explore iconic Indian landmarks like the Taj Mahal and the Ganges River through interactive activities and engaging visuals.  They will also delve into India's diverse traditions, including colorful festivals, traditional clothing, dance forms, and exquisite art and crafts. Using a variety of art materials and techniques, campers will create their own masterpieces inspired by India's vibrant colors, patterns, and symbols. Captivating stories and traditional Indian music will transport campers to the enchanting world of India's folklore and mythology.

Digital Art & Animation: Spring Picnic Day 🌸💻 (8 yrs & up)

Students will create a digital artwork of a picnic on a warm day under a tree.

Capture the essence of Spring with a cozy picnic in front of a beautiful landscape and flower blossoms in the wind. Students will learn a variety of digital art techniques including sketching, rendering, color theory, and working in layers to create a vibrant artwork. Using these skills, our instructors will guide participants step-by-step to make a lively scenery for their picnics. Students will be able to personalize their own artworks by including their favorite foods on top of their picnic blanket so they can each bring home a captivating artwork that reflects their ideal Spring day!

This one-day art camp, designed for young adventurers ages 5-7, takes campers on a vibrant journey to Mexico. They will explore Mexico's rich and diverse landscapes, cultural traditions, and artistic expressions through immersive activities and hands-on projects. Campers will uncover Mexico's fascinating history, from its ancient civilizations to its modern-day traditions, and learn about the country's diverse cultural heritage. They will engage in art projects inspired by Mexican folk art, including painting, sculpting, designing intricate papel picado, and molding clay pottery. By the end of the camp, campers will have a deeper appreciation for Mexico's rich cultural heritage and artistic traditions, and will have created their own unique masterpieces inspired by their Mexican adventure.
