Celebrate the season with daily projects highlighting the best part about summer in California; the beach! During this week of camp, we will explore sea creatures and more through mixed media projects and clay buddies to create & take home. While learning about sea life, tide pools, and ocean myths, kids will create octopi, starfish, mermaids & more! Using many media with a focus on watercolor, we will learn different methods and techniques that will grow your child’s skill set and reinforce positive habits.

Learn about famous artists in history as well as their techniques and inspirations! This camp explores various art styles and encourages kids to create their own masterpieces inspired by art history. Students will create multiple art pieces per day for an impressive array of work by the end of the week. They will learn many different techniques and experiment with mixing media. We will use watercolor, acrylic paint, colored pencils, and more to create our masterpieces. Kids can use the skills they learn in camp for endless projects at home, and become great artists of their own!

Calling all foodies- Let’s get hungry!! This camp is for those who love everything food- tasty sweet treats, mouth watering meals & thirst-quenching drinks! Each day this week, we’ll learn how to create artwork of snacks and food together, step by step. Campers will be able to add their own decorations & flavors to each and every project and learn some new techniques along the way. With guided illustrations & 3D projects, this camp is sure to have your tummy growling! We will be drawing, painting, & creating so many different foods, maybe even your favorite meal! Even the pickiest eater will have a blast in this camp, imagination and creativity is the only taste palette needed :)

We're turning up the heat at ArtHaus 5 with this Jr. Cooks summer camp! Students will learn to make pizzas, pastas, dumplings, cookies, sushi, musubi and so much more. Our campers will have so much fun cooking, creating receipt drawings and tasting the deliciousness wile explores how international culture and food come together! (An additional $25 material fee applied to this camp, not recommend for campers who have food allergies or dietary restrictions )

Cartoon & Character Design ✍️

Ever wanted to create your own character like you’ve seen in TV shows and movies? Join our camp! Students will work throughout the week to create their own original character (or OC) with direction and daily projects following the pre-production process for animated tv, movies, games, book illustration, comics & more.

Daily projects include learning shape/ silhouette/ posing/ color palettes, and more! By the end of the week, students will have a full reference packet of their character including full body turnaround design, facial expressions & clothing design.

Bring your personal flair to every aspect of your life with our mixed media & print making camp! Through many different methods, kids will be guided to learn new hobbies and ways to express themselves. Creating stickers & charms of their own artwork, carving their own stamps, and even creating t-shirt and clothing designs. This camp is geared towards the creativity and uniqueness of each child, and encourages them to show off their personality and expression. Paper art & Mixed Media Jr. ✨

Paper art is a collection of crafts using paper or cards as the primary artistic medium for the creation of two or three-dimensional objects. Campers will use paper and card stock with a wide range of techniques that they will learn. Campers will fold, curve, bend, cut, glue, mold, stitch, and layer paper. Paper will be the main medium in this camp but others will be used.
