studio Camp class policy
Terms and Conditions
Below you will find our policies regarding our weekly studio classes. If you have any additional questions, feel free to direct any inquiries to info@arthaus5.com.
Enrollment
ArtHaus 5 offers a variety of summer camps to meet the age and theme requests of our artists. This year, ArtHaus 5 is offering several camps each week. When registering your student, please note the age range for each camp. To maximize the experience of our campers, we have limited enrollment for each which is accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.
ArtHaus 5 reserves the right to cancel any camp that has not met our minimum enrollment requirement. Families will be notified at least one (1) week prior to the start of camp of any cancellation.
Camp Tuition Payment
Camp tuition is due and payable upon registration. Payments may be made either through automated debit/credit card payment, or through auto-debit from a checking account. A $15 fee, or the actual fee from the bank (whichever is greater), will be assessed on NSF (non-sufficient funds) notices. Registration and/or payment is non-transferable.
Camp Materials
Camp tuition does NOT include materials necessary for each camp. We will try our best to keep the list simple and use art supplies most of you already have at home. The list of materials needed for each camp is posted on our website under the camp details and emailed to you at least one week in advance. Links to purchase specific materials offered on Amazon, Michaels, Target, etc. will also be provided. Please note, these are suggestions and ArtHaus 5 is in no way compensated for your purchase of any particular supplies.
Camp Cancellations
Our summer camps are in high demand with limited enrollment which we accept on a first-come-first-served basis. ArtHaus 5 understands that unforeseen circumstances necessitating a cancellation do occur. In the event you wish to cancel your student’s camp enrollment, please send written notice to Accounting@ArtHaus5.com.
Refunds
Written cancellation notices received more than seven (7) days prior to the start of camp will be subject to a 25% cancellation fee. Camp tuition will NOT be refunded for any request received with less than seven (7) days until the start of camp.
Camp Credit
Written notice is required at least two (2) days prior to the start of camp for any request to switch to a different camp, or change the registration to a different week the same camp may be offered. Please note, camp space is limited and transfer requests are based upon availability and granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Camp tuition will NOT be credited for any request received with less than two (2) days until the start of the camp. Credits can be applied to future camps, studio workshops or weekly classes. Camp credits will only be applied for entire camps, and do not apply to campers that miss any days during their registered session.
Preparing for Camp
We want to ensure your camper maximizes their opportunity to meet new friends, have some fun and create art! Please help your camper be prepared for camp each day. Below are a few ways they can help make camp a success:
- BE ON TIME: You won't want to miss a minute of the fun! In order to minimize the disruption for all of our campers, please make sure you are on time to camp each day. Students more than 15 mins late to join the Zoom camp will not be accepted to camp for that day.
- BE PREPARED: Art supplies? Check. Zoom-connected device? Check. Power cord? Check. Please have all required art materials on the camp supply list ready when you join us on Zoom. Please also make sure your computer / iPad is charged or plugged in before each day of camp. Don't forget to dress for camp and find a quiet space at home from where you can join us!
- BE HEALTHY & STAY HYDRATED: Creating art, making friends and having fun can really work up an appetite! Have some water and snacks ready for when we take our camp break (10 - 15 mins) each day.
- BE YOURSELF: Of all the campers that could be joining our fabulous week, we're glad it's you! Be yourself - have fun - and let your new friends get to know you! Please keep your audio and video sharing on while logged into Zoom. We want to hear and see you. You will be asked to join the conversation, get to know fellow campers and show off your art projects!
Thank you for enrolling your child(ren) in our summary camps!
