ArtHaus 5 is pleased to hold an art workshop for our local Girl Scout troupe! The troupe will be creating an art piece instructed by Ms. Cheryl. The workshop is set to be held on February 29, 2020 from 2:00-4:00 PM.

The studio will be holding a special adult drawing class led by Ms. Cheryl! Learn some fundamental techniques while unwinding on a Friday night. Beverages will be provided. Ms. Cheryl and Mr. Josh are proud to present a workshop they will be co-hosting: Video Editing!

This complimentary workshop is set to be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 2-5 PM. 

This Video Editing workshop's curriculum is going to feature
-extraction of a video from YouTube
-the tools and techniques of a video editing app that will be available on the studio iPads
-instruction on how to load the video onto the editor
-how to edit/splice, add music and special effects
-the understanding of the timeline

While this workshop is complimentary, it is a precursor to the Video Editing class we plan to open in the studio in early February 2020. This workshop is intended for students who are considering enrolling in that class. In other words, if you have no interest in enrolling your child in our future class, this is not the workshop for you. There is no obligation to enroll in the future class. However, if your child is interested in learning about video editing and the tools needed to edit videos, they are more than welcome to register!

Children enrolled must be of at least 10 years of age. For the second year in a row, ArtHaus 5 will be holding its annual art show to showcase some of the spectacular art that has been made in the studio over the course of 2019. Finger foods and refreshments will be provided and there will be a short workshop for kids to partake in. Come over and see how the studio has grown since its opening in 2017!

ArtHaus 5 will be holding an exciting new workshop featuring stop-motion animation — specifically, clay animation. Students will be able to create their own mini movie using sculpting clay and stop-motion recording and editing software on Apple iPads. This is a great opportunity for kids to learn a new medium and new skills in a group with an experienced instructor!

First kids-only workshop will be from 1:00 - 4:00 PM.

Second workshop that can include parents will be from 5:00 - 8:00 PM.
