ArtHaus 5 will be holding an exciting new workshop featuring stop-motion animation — specifically, clay animation. Students will be able to create their own mini movie using sculpting clay and stop-motion recording and editing software on Apple iPads. This is a great opportunity for kids to learn a new medium and new skills in a group with an experienced instructor!
First kids-only workshop will be from 1:00 - 4:00 PM.

Alex had a childhood full of many projects and felt alive when given a chance to explore his creativity. He discovered his love for sculpting with Play-Dough before he could tie his shoes, and used the old family VHS camera to create stop motion videos. In middle school, he attended summer film camps where he first used computer software to edit videos. These separate joys combined and he later was known as the "claymation guy" in high school.
He has 8 years of experience teaching children and adults in locations such as Washington state (his home state), California, Spain, and Mexico. He has a strong passion for learning and finds inspiration in the creative work of his students.
PRICING: $45 + $5 materials per enrollment (each person will be able to take home their finished clay project)
AGES: Workshop open for ages 10 and up
TIME: December 7, 2019 @ 1 - 4 PM for children only
